Plain and simple if you have the privilege and opportunity to stay here - you must. The staff was English competent and extremely attentive to the needs of my family. Luca at the concierge and his team were on top of everything. The food for breakfast and dinner were fantastic. The check in experience seamless. As another reviewer pointed out - the bar staff was also top notch and attentive. There was no better seat than on the terrace over looking the lake surrounded by beautifully manicured d grounds The Hotel is beautiful in and out and tasteful blends the modern requirements of todays travelers with the history and unique architecture of the building. The spa! The best spa I have ever been to. You can spend an entire day in the spa without any treatments and you may just finish all the different options it presents. And it is complimentary as a guest of the hotel. If I make it back to Lago di Como I will certainly call the Grand Hotel Victoria my home.

This hotel is stunning! Staff is professional and friendly. They are very accommodating. Rooms are specious and if you book with AX, it is part of the Fine resorts, meaning you will get all the perks, including late checkout, free daily breakfast, room upgrade upon availability, etc. You could relax and enjoy your favorite cocktail in the evening in the front yard of the hotel, with stunning grounds and live piano entertainment. We recently stayed here for a few nights on our honeymoon. We wanted quiet, ideal location and superior service during our stay at Lake Como. We got all of those and more at the Grand Hotel Victoria. The staff was like incredibly helpful booking restaurants and the concierge was always there for assistance. The hotel itself is brand new, it has modern amenities but with a classic twist. If you want to feel like James Bond, go to the underground pool. It is straight out of a Hollywood movie set. Two slight downsides: the floor in the bathroom is a little slippery and the electronic controls of the lights/shades can be confusing.

We didn’t get the pleasure of staying here but I wanted to leave a review to say a big thank you to the beautiful staff at this hotel. We were caught in a massive storm that came on suddenly with no transport, even though we weren’t guests the staff quickly took us in, wrapped us in towels and popped us in front of the fireplace and got us home safely in one of the last taxis available. The service was impeccable right to running us into the taxi with umbrellas. The genuine willingness to help and kindness of the staff is very apparent and we will not hesitate to stay here next time we visit Lake Como.
